Donna A. Sullivan, D.C.
Dr. Donna A. Sullivan has been a licensed chiropractor since 1979.
She graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia and opened her first office on Cheshire Bridge Road, Atlanta, where she practiced for six years.
She established a one-stop health care clinic in Decatur, in August 1985. Practitioners included four chiropractors, four massage therapists and two counselors. That practice flourished for 12 years.
Dr. Sullivan’s specialties include: sports chiropractic, including wrist, knee and ankle adjustments; pregnancy and children’s chiropractic; both long-standing and recent neck injuries, and full spine chiropractic adjustments.
Dr. Sullivan uses the auricular technique, a pulsed ear pulling to relax the neck, as well as motion palpation, to determine the most important areas to adjust.
Dr. Sullivan has operated Starbridge Chiropractic in the Dahlonega, Cleveland, Murrayville areas for the past 15 years.
For some patients, Dr. Sullivan recommends neuromuscular therapy to rid the body’s muscle tissue of accumulated stress and adhesions. Chiropractic adjustments are then able to "hold" for a longer period of time.
Along with her husband, neuromuscular therapist Brian K. Sullivan, she uses her chiropractic skills, honed over 30 years of practice, to heal people in a quiet and beautiful mountain setting.
