Would You Like to Hear a Story?

Following tradition handed down for centuries, Cayce will enchant any audience with stories from many cultures and times.

Specializing in pre-Christian myth and legend, Cayce can tailor a program to fit any festival, holiday, or event. She is well known in the North Georgia area for her Native American story cycle.

Being of Celtic descent, she also has a wealth of stories from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Brittany. In addition, she has studied tales from the Middle East, the Orient, and the Pacific Isles.

Cayce can take you on a trip around the world in stories.

A theatrical major at Brenau, she traveled for two years doing puppet shows as school assembly programs in the late seventies. In 1982 she began telling stories to her children. After hearing Cayce, a neighbor encouraged her to go public.

A featured guest artist at five Tellebrations at Sautee-Nacoochee Arts and Community Center. She has also done a one woman show at Sweetwater Coffee House.

She has worked with White County and Habersham County school systems, entertaining children of all ages, teaching tolerance of other cultures through the medium of stories.
In the summer of 1996 Cayce presented a weekly program of storytelling for the city of Helen in the amphitheater next to the library. Although this facility was built some time before, she was the first person to use it.
